Well, if you can't find a good wingman, just go out by yourself. You will probably grow faster than if you had a wingman anyway. Think about it, I doubt Mystery ever used a wingman when he first started teaching himself. Wingmen are great, but they can be a crutch sometimes, especially if you're both not that good there's a tendency to sit back, bitch about how none of the girls are friendly/hot and talk about the game, but not actually do approaches. When you're by yourself, there's no excuses.

Tyler Durden talks about the "pickup artist pilgrimage" where a PUA travels around to different places, by himself, and learns to have a sense of groundedness within rather than situational. This is extremely important for good long-term game.
