So recently I was out with some friends playing some Frisbee golf with some friends, and I met some (random) girls at the course who joined with us to finish playing the course. I was doing great talking to them, and they were loving it.

The problem is my friends I was with (2 guys) both got quiet once the girls joined us. They ended up destroying the set because when the girls talked to them they remained quiet (Or short 1-2 word answers), and basically 'segregated' the girls from themselves/us (they still talked to me like 'normal' if I provoked them).

I asked them why they were so quit when the girls were there and all they could come up with was, "Well I wasn't trying to hit on them" or "I didn't care." Basically this ended up reminding me of myself back when I was an AFC.

I dunno where Im trying to go with this, I just noticed it the other day and it has been bothering me sense. Has anyone else noticed this in others (or themselves)? I've thought about introducing them to the community, but other attempts at this have been met with varying levels of resistance (and ultimate failure).
