What are some suggestions for a third date that won't end up where I'm sitting across from her and basically not able to touch her again.

Mini-golf, Bowling, bar, basically anything besides dinner or anything that involves the word 'table' (unless its table dancing!).

As for how to kino? Just do it! You've already waited too long, as it sounds like you haven't even touched her, and you've been on 2 dates! Next time just touch her! As intjpua says, touch everyone. The awkward-ness is just in your head.

Next time your on a date with her, give her a hug when you first see her. Playfully touch her arm to accentuate something your saying, or give her a gentle push if she's playful. At the end of the date just kiss her! Get out of your head. If she isn't very experienced like you said, she's probably more worried than you are about being 'awkward', so you need to be the dominant one.

Trust me, after that first touch, they will come easier and easier, and before you know it, it'll be on like donkey kong!

For me, the trick is not to be conscious on the fact that I'm touching the person. Rather, it should be something that comes off natural and not creepy. I just see how some of my 'touchy' friends do it in a conversation and imitate them.

As for the third date, I'd suggest something active or playful like bowling or ice skating where you warm yourself up and get comfortable with touching her. Then proceed to go eat, have a drink or a stroll somewhere, where you can continue to escalate your kino.

Don't do dinner dates, and if you sit down at a bar sit next to her, not across from her.

Take her to some kind of dance lessons if you want enforced kino.

I hate to put it so bluntly, but stop being a friend, be polite, but not nice. Let her know (subtly) that you want her. then just work on your social skills so you aren't sending the wrong message, they aren't made of fine china, and you won't break them.

Just start touching her... it's only awkward if you think it's awkward. I touch girls as soon as it's not super awkward.
