So, a bit of background before I go in further. Wednesday I'm leaving to go back to college for my sophomore year. My freshman year was one long dry spell, for a variety of reasons. I had the natural adjustment difficulties typical of Freshman, which was coupled with some low self esteem coming from being in a strange, new place. Then I got caught in the idea I needed women to make me feel secure, which led to me dong all sorts of irrational and uncomfortable things to try and get their approval, all the while I was basing my levels of happiness solely on what my perceptions were of what they thought of me, leading to a deep depression it took about a year of therapy to cure.

However, those past problems have been solved. I've made my connections, so no 'stranger in a strange land' anymore. I'm also past needing approval and validation from women. I've read How to Succeed with Women by Louis and Copeland (currently giving it a re-read before I head back), and poked around on Seddit as well (though I have not read The Game or Mystery Method, etc). I've even moved past my high school fixation on dressing solely in my Hot Topic gamer tee shirts. Gut says this year will be everything last year wasn't.

So, I'm making this to ask for some tips from the community to keep in mind as I go back to college. As the title says, I'm a beginner, so whatever is said is appreciated.
