How do you deal with the "ignore game" that often happens early on in relationships?

What's attractive to women: guys who have their own lives going and their own ambitions - guys, in other words, whose time they have to compete for. All this "don't call her for 2 days", "give time before you text" rules, they're are designed to mimic all that. If you actually are busy, it takes that much less work to appear busy. It also makes you a more interesting person.

Then you adhere to the present rules of dating and play by 'her/their' rules. Men are tacitly complying to whatever rules win dish out, although they only respect men that don't play by any rules. I do realize that men have to go through several stages as it relates to women...

1) Unconscious Incompetence...

Men are not aware that there are certain manners and factors when communicating and relating to women. They are so unaware of this plight, it makes the man/boy feel dumb and self confident, when in reality, the man doesn't know what he doesn't know.

2) Conscious Incompetence.

A man becomes aware of his deficiency and seeks to do something about it. This is the stage where a man seeks message boards and forums, materials, gurus, and applies what he is learning in the field/world.

3) Conscious Competence.

At this point in the game of life, he is aware of his growing powers. He has nearly made much of the pointers and teachings of meeting women routine in his being. He is not quite a master that has melded into a woman slayer, but he is close. He may adeptly utilize his skills anywhere, at anytime, and without fear, as he has done it so many times, nothing phases him.

4.) Unconscious Competence.

He is like Neo awaked (Matrix 1 or 2, you pick). At some point, neo was capable of controlling the sentinels while unplugged. This is the final level of a man. However, it wasn't until the end of Matrix that neo realized that playing by the rules of the game means he is still bound by that game and the strongest player/creator of that game, namely *the woman*.

I point this out because from personal experience, only men on a large scale go through this 'introspective' process of understanding oneself and the results we get based on who we are and what we do. It is rare that the female population would go to such lengths for the opposite and this is simply because they don't have to.

If you are/were some JS meathead and all the girls would throw their panties at you with zero effort, regardless of net worth, personality, etc, then how hard would you really try? This is, for obvious reasons, why some go the route of steroids and bb, because the results are often guaranteed with some class of woman, personality not-withstanding. So an ape-like man, that has zero desire to improve as a human being/doing, can simply improve his external appearance and attract some % of women. But, if you wanted to broaden your market value, you would work on the WHOLE package, inner game and outer game.

Yet, so long as we play by their rules, and often accept their very poor behavior, those tactics will remain and even gain power. I hear it time and time again, and Sun Tzu would be very disappointed in men. We are hardly adapting here. We are hardly looking that women will rule that venue by accepting admittance into their game, at their rules.

Oddly, that isn't what women want at all. They want men to be men. To be themselves. YES - a man. I don't mean you. Even who you are maybe some perversion of your childhood, your thoughts, expectations thrust upon you, etc, etc. So you aren't even necessarily you. "You" is just some construct, some melting pot you think you should be that you have grown comfortable and accustomed to being in society, but this does not mean it serves you best? It does not mean that is who you are destined to be. It means, this is simply the mask or character you have elected to be because you were labeled as such and it behooves other people to keep that way because their reality is thus still comfortable.

Just be yourself and if you get one of those flaky women who play games with your relationship, don't take the bait. Move along with your life, don't get bogged down in a relationship yo-yo. Just let her know you enjoy your time together and if she'd like to do something, fine. If not, then just move along with your life. Don't play the "who cares less" game, it's a sign of dysfunctional relationship or dysfunctional partner, either way you're farther ahead without it. Rise above high school game playing.
