So I'm a single, mid 20's college educated guy. I don't have much experience with pickup as I just kind of ended up in the last few relationships I was in. But I now realize I want something more. I have a bit of a different situation though, I recently moved out to a new area. It's semi-rural, mostly families. Not a ton of single women in my age range although there are some. About an hour drive there are some huge cities. I've been busy with work and only have a couple friends (older) out here but we don't really hang out. I'm not into bars or clubs at all. I realize this makes pickup more difficult but it's not my thing.

So I'm looking for a LTR. I tried the online thing a bit (kinda half-assed it) but there are very few women who meet the criteria I am looking for on there and they get crazy tons of messages.

I have a gym membership but I hear that's not a great place to meet women and around here it's mostly a bunch of milfs that go to the gym. I do get IOI's sometimes from women (even attractive women) but so far they're not what I'm looking for.

Looking at it more the problem is that since college I'm almost never in situations with women that I would potentially be interested in (work is not an option for meeting someone).

So any advice from seddit?
