Background: There is this girl i know for a long time and i always liked. Recently she moved back to my town again (she was living like 500 km away for 5 years). Before that she had the same bf for like 10 years.

Situation: She had sever problems with hardware and she knew that i can fix all that so i asked her if i could visit her for a beer and fix her stuff incidental.

I tried to do some basic kino with her and it worked out really well. Arms, little touch here and there under conversation. While she was sitting on her couch i was asked about how good i thought her new tv was and i used that to touch all her back with my upper torso. And then it happened. At first there was no response from her, but after i sat back leg to leg with her, she stood up and walked away with the tv controller. She simply stood there and switched channel. She didnt look like i was doing something wrong, neither did she make any noticeable hint that i was going over my limits or something. I asked her in a casual fasion if she always watching tv while standing and she seemed confused. When i left her appartment we hugged and i kissed her on both cheeks. She was totally fine with that actually she initiated that. After that she lend herself to the wall with the elbow. i was mirroring that 100% naturally and i was like 1 meter away from her (because i was tired as was she). When i talked to her like that all of a sudde she moved 2 steps away, although we've been far away already and she again looked a little bit confused.

So the question is, is this confusion or whatever it is a sign that i did it wrong? I am sure this girl never noticed that i am actually a cool dude and that although we know each oter for over 20 years. But this post is not really a bout that single girl, but about if this girls behaviour is "subconcious rejection" or i dont know.
