Fairly new to the scene; I find it very intriguing, but at the same I'm skeptical, especially because there are so many competing schools of thought. On one side you have the Mystery Method, RSD, and others who claim to have broken it down to a science - on the other side you have people like Sleazy, 60 years, etc. who say that it's all mental masturbation, and will hurt more than it helps. Right now I'm inclined to believe the answer is somewhere in the middle: some aspects of the method(s) will help you get out there, give you the confidence to approach girls, engage them in conversations, then try to take things to the next level. At the same time, they won't help you get 'any' girl, and you'd have to understand the lines well enough that you weren't just parroting them out, etc. But this is completely from my perspective, and it's because I'm an outsider that I'm posting here.

Here are my questions: What is your method of choice, and how much has it helped you get laid? What is your approach/success rate? What aspect(s) of your method do you believe is (are) the most effective?

I'm trying to figure out how much time it's worth investing, and where to invest it. I've read the newbie post, and a few of the guides, but I want to hear from people who are actually going out and using a method on a regular basis.
