Known her for months. 1st date was coffee. 2nd date was dinner. 3rd was a movie at my place.

She's Japanese, but I don't think that's a big factor. She drove out pretty far to meet me. We picked up dinner and a movie and went back to my place as was the plan. We teased each other, but I failed to initiate kino beyond simple taps.
After the movie, she started talking about going home. I tried to convert a goodbye hug into a kiss. WAY TOO LATE. She didn't go for it, but she still gave an IOI by wrapping my arms around her and talking about next time.

Then, I left for the holidays. Sent her a holiday greeting. She was slow to reply. After I returned, I invited her to hang out. She replied with saying she's busy until next month and LJBF.

Lesson Learned: Not enough kino and too slow. What's confusing: Was that really enough to convert me from an attractive guy to just a friend?
Is she talking about only being friends because she doesn't want me to be too sure of sex on a next visit?
