Another day out and more opens without closes. Tonight was all about language exchanges. The first one sucked. I was put at a table with 2 ugly girls and a HB6.5 and her boyfriend. I actually did some solid flirting with the HB6.5 but her boyfriend whisked her away. I chatted with the ugly girls until they had to leave then I joined a larger group. The only memorable part was a Chinese girl I wanted to punch. It is usually hard to upset me but she had such a bad attitude in general (and not just towards me) that I had to eventually just get up and leave.

We go to a second bar and everyone is paired off. A friend we met before tells us we just missed the crowd. We leave to try bar 3. This bar is packed but mostly guys. My wing introduces me to a HB6 and disappears. She is showing interest, most notably standing very, very close and laughing at stupid jokes. I am not interested and disappear when she goes outside for a smoke. I take a moment to give a girl who I met the last week some shit: a guy who we are talking to is trying to say goodbye to her and she is too busy talking to another guy to say goodbye. I grab her and tell her not to be rude - was she raised in a barn or something? She reacts like this is very funny and she is a bit embarrassed and apologetic. I can tell she is reacting to my stronger frame but I decide to open a set of 4 Spanish girls instead of talking to her more.

I barge into their conversation and get the now-familiar response: they are happy to be opened. One HB5, two HB6's and one HB7. The HB7 is the strongest personality and she tries to overpower me with her energy. She is very flirty and trying to dominate the exchange. She wants to know what I do for a living so I tell her to guess. She says that she can't possibly guess so I tell her that I could lie and tell her anything. I tell her I clone people for a living. She tells me they are all programmers - how rare is that, female programmers. I am a programmer to so we have a good laugh about that. I get roped into chatting with the HB6's for a few minutes and HB7 pulls out her phone and starts texting. She has got a big grin on her face and is making it obvious to me how much fun she is having texting.

My mate shows up with a new HB6 and pulls me away from the HB6 pair I'm chatting with. Within a few minute HB7 joins us and I immediately give her shit for texting. "I hope we didn't interrupt your important conversation". She handles it like a pro, says it was very important and ignores it and changes the subject. If I wasn't pissed off I'd be impressed. Again she is extremely flirty. We are constantly "accidental" bumping hands. After 10 minutes of good conversation she pulls out her phone again and starts texting, smiling, laughing and being pretty obvious about it.

Fuck that. I'm tired (4 nights out until early morning in a row) and I'm not in a good enough mood to act like that doesn't bother me. She's playing me and if I stick around I'm going to make a mistake just from fatigue. I make my rounds to say goodbye. I get roped into a 5 minute conversation with the 2 HB6 friends and HB7 has disappears. I see her outside smoking with HB5 as I exit. I say goodbye and we get dragged into a 5 minute goodbye chat. She is trying to keep us on the hook - like how long can she delay our exit. Eventually I just walk away and my friend takes another full minute to finally get free.

As we walk away he insists I was in with her. I tell him the only reason she seemed interested was because I was trying my best to act disinterested. The fact that she was texting in my presence was a strong IOD, especially after I had told her off for doing it. All she wanted was for me to show interest in her.

I am working pretty hard at this. I am pretty impressed that I can open HB7's pretty easily now and I'm definitely getting attraction, especially from HB6's. I've been patient so far ... it can't be long until a good HB7 finally allows me to close her.
