So, I'm usually pretty good about getting responses from online dating sites, but this one in particular has me stumped.

27-year old HB9 Lawyer w/ a pomeranian that she adores. She's physically active, playing tennis, soccer, running, etc. Is a HUGE dog fan. She isn't looking for someone argumentative and she's a clean-cut girl looking for a clean-cut guy with no kids, no drama and a good sense of humor.

So, I send her my fairly standard-but-personalized first message:

"Subject: Our dogs may never meet...

...if we don't do something about it! We can not let that happen!

Teaching your dog tricks and behavior is probably the most self-rewarding thing in pet ownership. I've got mine trained so well that she won't even touch her food until I tell her to "eat"! I'm going to have to find a good picture of her to show you if you're interested.

That's great that you're active. Getting out there and living life, along with looking to improve yourself physically and spiritually is very important to me. I don't think I could date someone who wasn't physically active and always looking for the best in life, so kudos to you!

So, what's your name, or should I just call you "counselor" in my best Robert DeNiro voice?

-geaux"

Well, this is what she responded with:

"Counselor works or you can call me Katie. And is your name Geaux?"

So, she responded, which means that I intrigued her enough, but it's a rather cold response and I have no idea how to respond. haha.
