Howdy all,

Time for another FR. Tonight I returned from what was overall a fun date. Unfortunately this date was really different from most of the other dates I've been on. You may know from my previous posts that I rely heavily on kino in my seduction technique and well let's just say today's date was a bit odd...

The two of us met at a Starbucks and we ordered some iced coffee since it's warm outside (I paid for both). We were near a nice walking path and my favorite thing to do is going on a walk on the first date...I find "kinetic motion + kino = win" and I tend to be successful on such dates. Unfortunately she didn't want to go walking because it was "too much like a sauna" (it was only 80 degrees out...).

We grabbed a table outside the coffee shop in the shade and started chatting. I sat at a right angle to her, as I figured it's a little closer and therefore should be easier to kino (though sitting down and kino is difficult to do). Anyhow I "incidentally" lightly touched her arm and she pulled back a little. Nothing to worry about there, as that's usually typical on the first touch. I did a couple more "accidental" touching her forearm and didn't get a flinch so I went for an overt class 1 act (I live by the DiCarlo Ladder) by placing my hand on top of hers. She pulled back and said that she is "cooped up in a small cubicle office all day surrounded by people" and that she has some personal space issues and doesn't like anyone in her "bubble".

Please note at this point I had nothing but positive feedback from her. The entire time we're having really great conversation; our personalities are perfectly aligned to each other. We're both highly sarcastic and we're both poking fun at each other and everything is going well. However I just couldn't quite get a good read on her in terms of kino. Proximity was a major problem so I noticed an opportunity to get closer. She started sarcasticly poking fun at me for something and she kept going on about it so I jokingly said "ok so if that's how you're gonna play..." and I moved my chair to be sitting right beside hers.

At this point, she immediately goes "oh god this is really uncomfortable...you're in my bubble...I think I'm gonna cry" and I look and her eyes are already glazing over and she REALLY is about to cry. It's been 2 hours into the date and I've continued to have nothing but positive IOIs from her and things were going great. Anyhow, I immediately scoot my chair back over and she says "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I just...I don't know...I just can't" and changes the subject instantly. The expression on her face was embarrassment...she didn't seem angry or upset at me, she just seemed ashamed and embarrassed.

About 15 seconds later, we're talking and our conversation has picked right back up and it's like nothing ever happened. The IOIs return and the date lasts another hour. She ends up going home and telling me how she had a great time and had a lot of fun. It seems to end on a positive note.

So obviously here comes the big question: WTF just happened? Has anyone else experienced an incident similar to this? I'm assuming there must have been something that happened in her past to make her averse to touch but obviously I didn't get into it, as the first date is supposed to be light and fun. However I'm very concerned because if I can't do kino, things are going to get into the friendzone real quick. Obviously I'm not going to get oneitis over her but in the 4 months I've been on seddit, she was by far the most compatible person with me personality-wise and would definitely like to keep things going with her. I just don't know how to handle this situation. Any advice would be helpful!
