So this girl and I have history. We dated for 2 1/2 years in high school, went to prom together and eventually decided that we just wanted to be friends. It's been 4 years since then and we've been great friends the whole time.

the other day, she came on to me and we had sex. For the first time together since we never had sex in high school (we were both virgins at the time).

The sex wasnt amazing but still pretty good. Enough for me to want more, though i am no longer at all interested in pursuing a relationship. Only thing is, after sex, she said "can we just forget about this? We are cool right?"

Now I'm not hung up on her and i am far far past wanting to date her but I really wouldn't mind being friends with benefits with her. We are great friends and she is pretty hot so i think it would work out pretty well.

Since she was the one to come on to me, I think I might have a good chance of turning this around. I have a feeling that the "let's forget about this" was just an Anti-Slut defense and she might think this might change the nature of our relationship.

What does Seddit think? What is the best way to make this happen?
