I'm 21 year old asian male living in New Zealand.I moved out my parents house from when i was 18 straight out of highschool cause my parents moved back to Asia and I was sick of there bullshit.

I'm studying computer science atm and make music etc.

I call my mom out of respect out of once a week and when i talk to her, she was tries to belittle and put me down.

Example of this, she calling me "acting like a child " for e asking her to listen my music and I told her I would take of her when she gets old, she would belittle me and saying told me to get a job instead of borrowing off the government.

WTF i'm studying at the moment. She would bitch about how hard her life is and shit and talk a whole lot of garbage . My music generally have positive reviews but my mom said it was "childish and garbage". Usually if a girl disrespects me i cut her out of my life or put her in her place. This is a difficult position for me because at the end of the day I only have one mom; regardless of how fucked up she is I feel an obligation to look after my family. Furthermore my parents have rarely gave me any financial support unless it was en emergency which so far in my life they gave me about 5k.I just find it extremely emotionally taxing having to deal with the bullshit of asian mom on the phone.
