This past weekend I had my first same-night one-night-stand. But the person I was with was against my own rules. I halfheartedly tried to send her home, but sex drive prevailed. She's too young (legal though) and there's too much status difference between us. I'm single, but this would be a minor scandal for me if it became public.

She's very innocent and now showing signs of becoming attached, even though I did make it clear beforehand the age difference was a problem. On top of that I now have to grit my teeth through my own feelings of attachment while trying to tamp down hers.

This sucks. How do you guys stick to your rules, especially after a few drinks, so you don't do something you regret?
