Recently I've gotten more and more comfortable approaching a cute girl by herself during daygame, but this isn't a common occasion (a lot of the times I'm not attracted to the girls sitting alone, or I just don't see girls sitting by themselves, moving targets are also hard as fuck, I do them but very rarely do I get success). But I regularly see a girl sitting with her friend, or a bunch of guys and girls.

For example I was sitting with my friends today in the park, and next to us was this HB8, her dog, and her two friends (girl and a guy). The dog wanders over to me and I start petting and playing with it. I say hi, she says hi and continues her convo with her friends while I play with the dog. Dog gets bored and wobbles away while I talk to my own friends. Then I took out a small ball I had and started tossing in the air and catching it, dog came over again and wanted to play, so I played with him (at this point she was still talking to her friends). I tossed the ball, the dog ran and got it but brought it back to her, she wrestled with her dog got the ball back and started apologizing to me, I said it's fine and she tossed it back towards me, hit me in the head because I wasn't looking, and started giggling and apologizing. I smile, say it's fine, and toss the ball again for the dog to catch it. We keep doing this for 10 minutes, and the whole time I want to talk to her but she's playing with the dog with me and her 2 friends are next to her. This all fizzled out as my friends leave and I leave with them.

How would you guys approach a situation like this? I obviously should have approached her and talked to her more as we're playing (btw we were sitting like 2 meters apart) but the fact that she was with friends scared me tbh. I don't have this problem approaching a girl sitting by herself, but when she's with friends I get major AA.
