The best opener that's worked for me and everyone I know, which is super direct:

"Hey I saw you over here and I thought you were cute, I had to say hi."

Just use that line every time unless you see a great open for a situational opener. But it's better to state intent ASAP, so you avoid friend zoning and they understand why you're there in the first place. Then, banter, banter, kino, tease, kino, banter, number close.

tl;dr of the book: innocuous opener about a prop or surroundings (elderly opener) -> ramble until girl shows enough overt/covert interest -> number close with galnuc which is a pretty cool routine to make the number close much more natural.

Day game and night game are as different as "night and day" lol. At night, you focus more on indirect/situational openers and leading statements. During the day you want to be more direct and ask questions (especially with shy girls).

Successfully used this on a Starbucks barista this morning:

(Scene: It was raining outside we were both waiting for our turn to use the restroom)

Me: "Is there a storm out?"

SB: "No, just a low pressure area."

Me: "Oh, really? I guess so... I think it's been raining since last night."

SB: "Yesterday, it was dark and cloudy over in [city]."

Me: "Ah, are you from [city]?"

SB: "Yep."

Me: (remembering a news item) "I heard your biggest mall was on fire for more than 24 hours..."

We had to end our conversation about 3 or 4 sentences after that last one because I had to go into the restroom to use it (we were in line, after all). But this simple conversation proved how easy it is to transition from one simple question to what can possibly be a great conversation (hey, the topic may seem lame but as long as both parties seem genuinely interested or at least friendly then it's all good).

I'm stumped as to how I could have continued the conversation, though. It's too awkward to walk out of the restroom and try to talk, and it's even more awkward to wait for the person to walk out of the restroom and then talk to them. Is there any way around this?

Just ask her if she know what time it is, compliment something about her, and run with it.

Once you push through the AA, you will find out how easy it is to approach and just chat with women.

Start by being generally social. Open anybody that comes within 5ft of you. Talk to people in front of you and behind you in line at the grocery store or coffeeshop. Ask them about their shoes, or car or the book they're reading. Make an observation about a magazine cover. Or just drop compliments and see how that feels.

Something I like to use is the scavenger hunt line. This works best when you are with a buddy. Walk straight up to the girl SUPER IMPORTANT that you are confident and that every word out of your lying mouth sounds like truth.

I should say that I really hate routine type BS, but some clams are squeezed so tight you need a little something extra to pry them open

Excuse me miss me and my buddy are on a scavenger hunt for (bachelor party, charity event works great, or birthday party) and then run with it from there. Some things we say are like we get points for kisses ect. You'd be surprised how well this shit works.

edit: I should say that I figured this out while on a scavenger hunt.
