When you didn't have time to think of something witty or relevant to the situation, but you just have to say something, what is it?

I have two that aren't great but work like 70% of the time for a ice breaker, so its better than not saying anything.

The first one I just start asking if her name is X, like I know her from another situation, she will say no, then Ill try Y, and so on with the most popular names of her age and place.. the secret, as always, is being confident and funny and sometimes you will get it right. If not Ill just say -You know that by saying those names I have a 76% chance of getting it right? So just tell me the first letter of your name and I surely get it. It becomes a game.

The other one is saying that I have a shirt with the exact same texture design (im sure there is better term for this, sorry for my english), this works with clothing that would look ridiculous in a man. Than you can say that you got lucky because you guys would look foolish wearing the same clothes.
