Sarging in the Park

I work daygame pretty much exclusively, and when I first started I was shocked by how open many women are to being hit on while they're out shopping/reading/going to class/etc. Even the ones who weren't interested would often compliment me for how "bold" I was.

I have a theory, which I might expand on in a future post, that when you approach a woman in the daytime you're essentially being her "manic pixie dream boy." Like the Zooey Deschanels and Natalie Portmans of the indie film world, you're spontaneously walking into the middle of her comfortable, stale routine and injecting it with fun and romance and energy. From that frame, you want to interrupt her life and give her a fun new experience. I mean really, which is the better story: "Yeah, I went to the park today, read for a little bit, then went home." OR "I was at the park and out of NOWHERE this cute guy started chatting me up! We're meeting for coffee later!"

Sometimes you'll creep a woman out, but you'll be able to tell and then you can just leave. A few seconds of mild discomfort for both of you, and then you don't ever have to see each other again. And even then she'll have a funny story she can tell her friends later. Either way, you've made her day more interesting than it would have been otherwise.

Oh and stop making excuses. If a woman has earbuds, I'll motion for her to take them out. If it's going well, I'll ask her to take off her sunglasses, "so I can get lost in your eyes."

You're fucking awesome. You're not an obstacle getting in the way of the girl's goals. You're saving her from her mediocre book and giving her the chance of a lifetime to spend time with a cool mofo like you.

Ask yourself this: why would she go to the park to read and not just do it at home?

Also Squares are a really good place, I think way better than parks. And, if you are able to bridge the gap between tables, coffee-shops are nice.

I'm from Connecticut but I go to Manhattan to sarge all the time.(go every week or other week) Most of my wingmans and connections with pickup are in NYC. I'll give you my take on what your thinking since 1) I am 19 years old 2)I've been doing daygame for 10 months 3) My wings and I always sarge at Union/Washington Square

-Girls don't think it's creepy that you approach them in day time. I've gotten a lot of compliments for approaching in day time. Girls will tell you that you've made their day or you had a lot of guts to approach them. If they really don't want to be bothered they will tell you directly like "I'm busy I have to go" or try to give you a hint.

-It isn't a challenge at all if they're wearing ear buds or sunglasses. If they are listening to music then they will take them off for you if you want to talk to them. Even if the girl is on the phone. You can ask them if it's an important phone call and can they call them back. Most of the time the girl will stop the phone call and talk to you. As for sunglasses. Thats not even a challenge. I don't care if they are wearing sunglasses in set.
