my mate texts me with the intention of going out to "chase skirt". friday night in my town is known for being dead but we head out anyway to see what we can do, the 4 afcs that we are. using my seddit knowledge i stress that we mustn't dlv each other in sets, which has been a major flaw of our attempts in the past. beyond that, we pretty much all do our usual thing.

whilst going hard on the dance floor i catch someone who visits my shop regularly (girl X), but i haven't interacted with at all. before seddit i would've turned my back and hid [which infact is what she did] but no, i announce "hey you, i know you!" and she keeps walking. i mention to her mate i know her from work and (girl Y) starts getting all friendly with me. Y was nothing special but was pretty fun and the night was young so we danced a bit and soon enough X comes crawling back and acknowledges me. we eject and change venue to see what else is going on. at the same time my mate (man A) has isolated a girl of his own, and i leave him to it.

in the street i found out A is going with his girl and her five female friends to another joint, i quickly do the math and meet him there. unfortunately when i see them the hottest one is someone i'd been phototbombing in the previous club and she was not impressed. i immediately dissassociated from A so i didn't wreck his set. so now i'm driftwood scoping the club alone with my two other mates yet to catch up.

thats when i stumble past X and Y, and Y slaps my butt. X seems much more intrigued now, and im accused of following them. then, they wanna know my age. that was the moment i knew it was on, why would a stranger want to know my age? i think they might be a couple of years older than me so i turn it back on them, with "you first", leading to joking and light kino, with their poor attempt at twenty questions and me deflecting pretty much all of it. Y, who i presumed was most interested continually asked what i thought of X. so i'd look over smirk and shrug, as X stood there.

so i walked up to X, draped her arms around my neck and and slow danced her in the middle of a very upbeat dance song. noses almost touching, i held eye contact until she broke away and giggled, at which point i tell her that Y said she was interested, but before she answers i kiss her. and the next two hours is making out, leading her around, dancing, teasing and kino. when my other friends finally turn up (man B) wings his heart out taking care of Y, who tirns out is engaged and gives us her blessing anyway.

closing time, i number close X and Y and i ask her [bad move] what her plans are, she replies with an "i don't know" grin. so, the 5 of us A number closed and is coming home, B, Y, X and myself head outside for a taxi. i ask X if she wants food, she says no. i tell her im getting mcds before the taxi. she follows and we go as a group, while i hang back a few paces with A, and this is where i fucking panic.

since my life crushing heart break, this, if it played out would be the first female to enter my room in over a year. which had degenerated into a teenage pit, clothes everywhere, dirty ensuite, a proper state. i hadnt prepared. i wasn't suposed to get girls. i am chode. town was supposed to be dead. what if i'm shit at sex? fuck this is too much. fuck. i'm terrified. i flip out.

as soon as they round the corner i 180 and sprint, telling A to bail too and we are in a taxi in seconds. home and dry, im pacing around throwing my phone at the wall with each missed call. A phones B to explain my break down and he escorts the girls home, understandably pissed at me. i get a text from X, "ur confusing! lol see u tomorrow if ur out! x"

so thats the story so far. i found out i can pull, and i found out i'm a headcase. lesson learned-ish. what do i do with this?
