The post about why some people view Seddit negatively got me thinking. It seems like it all stems from a feeling of serendipity, or at least the feeling that said girl's attraction to you is natural. Basically if she finds out you used tips and tricks to get her, it makes the feeling of it all being natural go away.

So from there I started thinking more about serendipity and how important it really is. For those who aren't familiar here's a link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serendipity It basically is a feeling that whatever just happened wasn't planned out but it happened the right (or even "perfect") way anyway by chance. It even sometimes implies that "it" was meant to be the whole time.

So obviously this has some importance in game. IMO it is very important, if not completely necessary in some cases. It seems like any time you can give the impression that your approach was a natural progression and not planned out you will probably do better than if you telegraph your intentions. IMO this is what a lot of game is, making your advances seem normal and smooth like they are just fate taking over. I think part of the pursuit is creating this feeling and basically implying, "It almost seems like we're supposed to do this."

I bring this up cause I think looking at it from this perspective may help people out. I know it does me. My favorite person to go out to bars with is a super social guy who introduces himself to everyone in the bar. He has a girlfriend, but he bounces around. He creates moments for me to talk to whoever he's talking to's friend, and basically (unknowingly) introduces me to tons of women while letting them feel like it was simply some random chance. And if they like you, it's by some random chance they just met a hot guy and are usually a lot more into you than if you went up on your own.

Honestly that's all I got for now. I feel like the feeling of chance bringing two people together is very powerful and if we could figure out ways to recreate it we would all be doing a lot better. Anyone else have any thoughts?
