Been meaning to write this up for a while as well.

Went out to the bar with my friends. Two guys and a friend HB5 who I'm not interested in at all. Anyways we got there kind of early in the night. Place was pretty fucking dead so we shot pool for a while and drank some brews. HB5's friend shows up and is a cute HB6, would have been higher but she had one glaring flaw. No need to mention it to be nice. So I start flirting with her for a bit just to get in state. A bunch of light kino and push/pull type stuff with some harmless flirting in between.

Anyways the bar gets a little bit more crowded so I decide to do some approaches. I tell my boy to pick out a cute girl in the bar to approach. (helps give me motivation so I can't bitch out). He points at the first girl.

Set1 This girl is an HB8. Macho type tom boyish girl. She's got tats and I notice she has blisters on her heels. I use that as my opening commenting on how she must love to hike or such. Turns out its from running in military boots and she's pretty hardcore. Meanwhile i'm talking to her and her two douchey looking friends are sitting down next to her snickering at me. (For reference we were both standing and they were being AFC's sitting in the corner even though they were both fucking chiseled bronze gods, had to contain my lulz)

So I open these two AFC's in the corner to try and disarm them, but they are just cold and unreceptive. W/e no fucks given. I talk to her asking her about her tattoos and what not, I get her name and I decide to eject because I didn't really have much to connect with her on/interest other than i thought she was hot. So my friends were pretty shocked that I did that. So I was feeling bau5 as fuack.

I ask for them to pick out another girl. They spot a girl in white shorts

Set2 I approach this girl and lightly touch her arm and ask her if she can teach me some of her killer dance moves jokingly (they fucking sucked lol). She turns around and she isn't as cute as i thought from across the room, but fuck it I rolled with it. Maybe HB5 at best. So I kino lightly some more and tease her and her friend about their heights guessing them to be like 6'3'' when they are clearly 5'1 or some shit. Anyways I grab her hand and tell her lets dance and I lead her to the dance floor. This was mostly just to show my buddies how easy it was and what not. So I start to dance with her. Not really into it and my dance moves show. Luckily her other friends come up and start dancing.

One of them comments to me "thank god you started dancing none of my friends wanted to!" She was a solid HB7.5 hipster looking chick. She fucking opened me and I didn't even realize it. Lol fuck. Oh well. I stopped dancing with the HB5 shortly after because I wasn't really interested in her.

Takeaways: -Even the chiseled adonis gods can still be AFCS sitting in the corner, and I can still have more cajones then them -teasing and push/pull works well especially if you can tell she's into you -girls love it when you take the lead -I guess massive social proof when you give zero fucks and start the dance party on the empty dance floor -Should have approached that HB7.5 hipster chick. Missed that perfect opening and still could have even went back to her later that night -Using your friends to push you works pretty well, but is ultimately a crutch I need to drop

tl;dr I started the DP- dance party, girl then opened me, to stupid to realize it.
