Scenario:

I was a club with my group of friends, and I opened a group of 3 girls next to us. I got in to their group and had them smiling and we were having a good conversation and one of the guys comes in to 'wing'. So I introduce him and introductions proceed and we're talking. At this point I am leading the interaction, with him throwing in some points.

I make the observation that two of the girls are twin sisters. They laugh and tell me I'm right blah blah and I start talking to one of the twins specifically, while my friend talks to the other. I try to escalate to a cheek kiss when I find shes part south american (I told her I have to greet her the south american way, which is normal) but she backs off and tells me she has a bf (which is legit, I found out later). In my drunk state I laugh about it and say I greet her sister the south american way then. So I just start talking to her sister and I have to admit for a second I did ignore my friend, where he got pissed off and made it be known, as I was effectively taking his target.

So I did do something wrong and I acknowledge that. I remember actually telling him to talk to the taken sister for me, where he got pissed. I apologized to him and made up for it by talking to the other 2 girls and keeping them entertained while he gamed the other. Over the course of the next hour or so he danced with her, and got a kiss close, while even though it seems like a chore I had fun with the other two girls and other people in general. He thanked me later for helping him out. We all got each other's number after since we had such a fun time.

But am I really wrong for being slightly selfish for a moment? For wanting the girl that was single, even though he was talking to her? But I was the one that opened the group, I got the 'in' to the group and was accepted by them initially. I made them laugh and showed I was high value. He came in and didn't have to do much at all. I am confused here.. I'm not really pissed off, but I feel as if I deserve to choose the girl, since I opened. If he had opened, I would take whatever was available, only after my mate had his chosen.

On another note, I messaged the taken sister the next day telling them I hope they had a fun time (following up..). Her single sister messaged me saying it was nice to have met me, and I went into a convo with her. Later in the week I opened her situationally because she had a bbm status I made fun of. We kept talking, and she showed me some ioi's. She is coming to meet me tomorrow.
