This is a drinking game and it is fucking amazing. I'm not sure how well known this is, but I think it merits a post on seddit regardless. I was at a party a while ago and an American dude suggested we play this, it went down a storm.

Go get a group of people!

The Rules Gather round in a circle. One person in the group is "on". That person counts to 3. On the beat after the count, everyone puts a fist(0 fingers) or an open hand(5 fingers) into the middle. The person who is "on", at the same time, tries to guess the number of fingers in the middle of the group.

If he/she gets it wrong, the person to the left is now "on".

If he/she gets it right, theres more. He/she now has to say "Thank you ladies and gentlemen for a lovely game of fives" and hold a straight face for 5 seconds. Everyone else in the group can do or say say anything to make them laugh. If they break the straight face, they lose, action goes to the left. If they hold the straight face, they win! Everyone else drinks!

Why is this game so good?

*You don't really need anything. Just a group of people. Play it at a bar with a group you've never meet. Play with friends at a house party. Play it with strippers is a pool. Standing up in a bar, on the bus, in an elevator, whatever. You don't even need the drink necessarily.

*You learn a lot about people. Especially when you play with people you don't know, chances are your going to get a taste of some of their old crazy stories and inside jokes. Money.

*Its really fucking fun. It gets every laughing and interacting with others.
