I've tried omegle once. Most of the girls (the few that are on there) quickly disconnected the cam/switched or whatever. It just made me feel ugly. Not really sure it did anything to alleviate my fears.

I'm definitely gonna take a look at this over winter break. Sounds like a fun challenge. I don't have the biggest issue with AA anymore, but practice when I'm bored will help. Nowhere to go but up.

Whatever works for you, man.

I recommend just going out and doing things you like and talking to people you meet along the way. That way you already know you have a common interest and something to talk about. Plus it's in-person interaction, which is better for overcoming social anxiety. For example, you could go to a hiking meetup or a dance class.

But if that's too much of a great leap forward, I suppose Omegle is better than nothing.

This is a super good idea. I've used Omegle to see how long I could chat to a complete stranger before. It's good for that too if you want to test out some lines or quirky things to say and see what their reaction is.
