I've been saying this, but take note everyone: OP describes a tactic (an action), and then reveals the type of strategy it's a part of. This is a well written [FR].

Remember, you can read a PUA book in a day and you'll know the strategy. Being successful is about having the balls, and getting the practice so you form good actionable tactics around that strategy.

My only criticism is that you only did what the situation called for. You got into a good night and everything pretty much worked out for you. I pretty much would have done the exact same things as you did. I'm not saying it's bad, just saying that this is something that will boost your confidence, but not your skill. You didn't seem to push your comfort zone.
