I think some of the MR posts are relevant and warranted.

I'll sure as hell tell you that they very much helped in my digestion of the pill, especially when getting the "no way AWALT" initial resistance.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I have to say that despite the fact we get daily or even weekly concern trolling about the Men's Rights content on this sub. I find that only the absolute best of Men's Rights articles and those most relevant to TRP make their way here.

I've been subscribed to /r/MensRights but I rarely if ever head over there because far too many of the posts are whiny and rather circlejerky.

That said I do think the Men's Rights articles that make it here help the newbies. The newbies really do not realize that the system is always ALWAYS set to screw them at every possible turn. Only by seeing these examples playing out before your eyes can you anticipate and protect yourself against the wide variety of threats that a man faces in our society.

PS: I find it ironic that people are bitching about MRA content when there's only one MRA tagged link/article on the entire front page today.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It was men's rights and double standards (feminism is good because everyone's equal, so women should get all these extra perks!) that opened my eyes as early as 10 years old that something wasn't right.

I went from MRA to seduction to here.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah seduction is a pretty solid pathway to TRP. Now if only feminism lead people (at least the guys) to Men's Rights we'd be all set to take down the gynocracy. /s

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Seduction basically opens your eyes to the fact that women aren't some overall mystery (that they themselves like to project when advantageous). After playing script kiddy for a while , I wanted to learn why it worked.

Yeah when you know how the system is set to screw you. It is possible to develop appropriate countermeasures to being screwed by the system.

If you do not even realize you are being screwed the chances of you being able to come out of it with your shirt intact are slim to none.

I joined and started reading around 10000 which I think was about 9 months ago or so. I agree, who care if shots not equal, find a way to survive anyway. Bitching won't get you anywhere.

[–]Endorsed ContributorSarcasticus 23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

They are fighting for equality, that's good.

No it isn't. It's futile. Men and women are not equal and never will be. The whole reasoning behind "equality" is faulty.

In other words, they are still children, who expect the state to take care of them.

[–]lightfire409 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well no, they are fighting for the state to not demand half of their assets when their wife divorces them.

[–]vozkhan 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never underestimate the power of victimology, feminist should hate MRAs because they intend to behave just like them but on the far end of the spectrum

[–]Patriarchal_Bondage 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sure, if you're using the Newspeak definition of Equality.

[–]VinylGuy420 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Someone's got to put up some sort of resistance so feminism doesn't get too out of hand. But it shouldn't be the focal point.

[–]wonderfulish 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

A more accurate term would be equivalent. Men and women are both people, and are therefore equivalent. However, men are not women, so they are not equal. Men and women are equivalent, but they are not equal.

[–]Endorsed Contributorburningtimber 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Say what?

Men and newborn babies are both people. Are they equivalent?

[–]wonderfulish 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. It is a mathematical distinction of equivalency. Apples and bananas are both fruit. When considering fruits, they are equivalent, but apples do not equal bananas. When only considering whether someone is a person, men and newborn babies are equivalent. But babies are not equal to men.

[–]RejectionEquality1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Came here to say this. Was not disappointed.

[–]john-b 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I only just arrived, but this man has a point.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Fuck teaching guys. If you want the truth you can come swallow it the hard way like everyone else here.

That's absolutely part of process. To take trp truths to the mainstream and make it easily digestible, we'd have to sugar coat and cookie-cut and that's absolutely not how things should be done.

People need to come here after tragedy or confusion or curiosity. If we seek bluepill people out and try and force the pill down their throat it will only cause chaos and failure, and I don't do failure.

[–]11411181 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

"I suffered, therefore everyone else who comes after us should suffer"

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's not about suffering. Most men, if not 90% of them, will reject red pill philosophy on sight. With that, you have 2 options. Dumb down the content, lower the quality, sugar coat the message - or only give it to people looking for the truth and a change.

[–]11411181 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think we have a fundamental misunderstanding on what "teaching" actually entails.

I'm not advocating dumbing down the message or the harsh experiences that go with realization of it - only the unnecessary crap that really only serves to detract from actually getting there.

You don't need to be stabbed to figure out why gang violence is bad, likewise you don't need to be rejected countless times by women before you finally wise up that your issues lie with yourself when attracting women. I think we can agree there.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I gave other motivators such as curiosity for why people come to redpill. There needs to be a reason you seek out the truth or you will ignore it because being comfortable in the matrix is something you can't just 'cure'.

[–]VinylGuy420 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I never said sugar coat the truth. That's the opposite of what needs to be done. Guys need to be hit with the blunt, open truth. But teaching guys how to deal with women in the modern world despite the blunt truth is as important as realizing the truth itself.

[–]TRP VanguardVZPurp 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I remember a day when the main problem with being cheated on/divorced/taken advantage of/rejection was YOU, not her.

Yes and no.

Your job is much harder if everyone around her encourages bad behaviour; even worse, when legal incentives are provided to demolish long term relationships.

[–]Ferelden 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Complaining about it doesn't change anything. All you can do is improve yourself so that being cheated on, divorced, taken advantage of, or rejected doesn't happen to you. Making positive changes in yourself should motivate others to do the same, if they ask you what you did you can give them the pill.

[–]a_chill_bro 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Bro, I couldn't agree more about the Men's Rights posts but read the Posting Rules and Guidelines, specifically under the "Trolling" section:

"Concern

"I feel like this sub is focusing too much on.." (If you are genuinely concerned, contact a moderator, or submit more content of the quality you would prefer to see.)"

[–]VinylGuy420 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm a mobile user, I don't have access to the side bar. Though I probably should look it over since the last time I checked it out way back.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Could be considered concern trolling but I think he actually makes a good point. We should be focusing on how to succeed despite the fact that the deck is stacked against us.

[–]VinylGuy420 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My post in a nutshell.

[–]Tallsmarthandsome 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How can young men learn to adapt to unfair rules if they are not aware of the unfair rules?

When I see 'MR' posted here, my favorite responses are ways to adapt to the unfairness highlighted by the 'MR' post.

[–]Thanaton 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yea I've been mostly lurking for 3 months now and while I enjoy a good MRA story it gets me no closer to my goals or internalizing traits like amused mastery, discipline, educational or financial success. I just get passed off and look at women as something to be avoided rather than conquered.

Maybe just start downloading MRA threads until we return to basics.

[–]puaSenator 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just a few days ago I literally posted something along these lines in AR... Basically, TRP and MRA have the same knowledge and understanding. The difference is that TRP is more concerned with navigating the massive shithole rather than fixing it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Now women are promiscuous, slutty, and gold diggers, while men have become soft feminized, emotional pussies

As you touch on, I think that many of our current problems are self-inflicted. Men (and their institutions) have abdicated their role in society. Feminism is attempting to fill that power vacuum.

[–]6982 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Leg someone else mentioned, this is borderline concern trolling. If you want more threads of a certain type, go make them. End of story.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Now that's all find and dandy, but we aren't learning anything new or building on known knowledge.

Those posts help the new guys out. TRP is about everything: knowledge, fitness, diet, game, self-improvement, and politics.

What is this?

[–]VinylGuy420 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree, but when the majority of posts are Men's Rights (even though they aren't tagged Men's Rights, they still are) we go no where and end up circle jerking. Guys that come here either have been awoken to reality already or have read the side bar. They don't need it shoved down their throats. A men's rights post every now and then isn't bad, as it serves a constant reminder AWALT. But too much is too much. Everything in moderation.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We already have been doing that.

[–]Endorsed ContributorLastRevision 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Until things change? Things are never changing.

[–]1FrogTrainer 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I agree, but I think a lot of mens rights stuff ends up here because /r/mra is pretty dead and /r/mrm is private.

[–]tallwheel 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Then why don't they post in the main men's rights sub, /r/mensrights ?

[–]1FrogTrainer 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

well shit.

[–]circlhat -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

TRP solution is don't have children, don't get married, that's not adapting , Men's right solution is to make fair laws, that benefit both genders.

I see more articles like yours than I do men's right movement, its very important we have facts, not some stupid articles about leaving your genitals in the sun to increase testosterone levels and not watching porn or some other stupid shit.

Men's right has its problem so does TRP, I feel its best to take what you can use or simply down vote their articles , but your post is whinny feminist type crap, I guess that's why its being up voted; because that shit works.

females complain more, they get more, perhaps I should take a page from your book(and feminist) , complain about everything.
