How to handle a direct complement?

My go-to reply for anything along those lines is "Aw, stop, you'll make me blush!", then give her a big shit-eating grin and and lightly push her away.

If she's got any game of her own, she'll laugh and move closer to you. From there, proceed as usual.

I have a mohawk and get the same thing, so Im curious as well because exept for one time when I was really in my zone and pulled a number from it, I usually have the same dumb shit responses you do. So thanks for posting

you make up some ridiculous story as to why you have it and start a conversation. make them laugh and don't forget to Kino.

The key is how you say "Thanks." Look directly in their eyes, give a big smile, and say "Thank you" with the most genuine gratitude you can muster. It helps if you practice regular genuine gratitude in your life. Don't act as though as stranger just complimented you and you're both just moving on. Act as though she just started a conversation with you and that you're going to contribute something awesome to the conversation. Hold her gaze, hold her attention, stay relaxed.

You could say something like "Thanks, you wanna touch it?" to start kino then jump into conversation from there.

As a person with a gnarly handlebar mustache I constantly get compliments and girls wanting to take pictures with me. In my experience it always seems to start a conversation but often times there is a lull when trying to find something else to talk about. More often than not I will simply say "thank you" and continue walking and talking with my friends.

Although, on one occasion when a girl complimented my stache my friends wife hopped in the conversation and stated that she should give me a kiss since she liked it and to my surprise she did. I guess it opened my eyes to the possibility of what can be achieved, but I don't think I could make those statements without feeling like a creep and since my stache makes me kind of memorable I don't want that creeper label.

To contribute to the topic that OP posted I would say it comes down to your ability to be daring. The advantage you have over everyone else is that you have one thing that people will constantly compliment you on so it makes sense that you would create your introduction strategy based around the comments "I really like your hair", etc. I have yet to fully utilize what I have but it feels good to know that I am not alone in simply saying "thank you."
