I'm part of the Ballroom Dance Club at my university, so I'm probably biased. Nevertheless, the following are great partner dances: Hustle, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Salsa/Mambo, Cha Cha, and Rhumba.

Hustle is especially awesome because it's extremely simple; any girl can do it because she just has to follow your (generally extremely simple) leads. Which means you can look like a flipping boss by "teaching" her how to hustle, and then spinning her around a bunch. Bitches love being spun around a bunch.

Plus, dance classes can make you more confident as a decision-maker/leader and when it comes to touching women, if either of those are additional problems for you. Good luck! :-D

Immediately smack the floor with your hand as hard as possible. This will assert your dominance and get people's attention. Then, start pushing people out of your way until you find someone you want to dance with. When you find that person, start gyrating wildly. It doesn't even matter if you're moving to the beat, just flail away. If you do this, I guarantee you'll have a great time AND pick up tons of dudes/ladies/ladydudes.

Remember that craze for that Korean song/dance Gangnam style a little while back? If you can learn the moves to that and start breaking them out you'll be the king of the dance floor. It'll bring back so many fond memories for people and they'll think you're the life and soul of the party. Best part? Those moves work to any song

You can be the worst dancer on the floor, but if you love it, girls will dig it. I suggest putting on your favorite tunes, closing yourself in your room, and just dancing. Do it for a few hous, then try it at a club.

Taking dance classes has revolutionized my confidence with pickup. It is my absolute favorite place to meet women. You are learning something new and fun together where you get to touch each other. What more could you want? Also when you integrate your new dance moves with club dancing you'll be in a whole new league.

The dances I would recommend learning are hustle, bachata, merengue and salsa in that order. East coast and west coast swing are great as well.

Also, if you really want to step up your game you can learn a slow dance such as tango, waltz or foxtrot. I may or may not have uttered the words "We should go back to my place so I can teach you the waltz, it's too crowded here" on more than one occasion...

I just get really friggin hammered and make sure I move to the beat with a huge smile on my face. I'm having more fun than anyone else and it is quite apparent. I have no formal dance instruction whatsoever, yet I've been asked where I learned how to dance.

If you're in a club or at a festival, it really, really, doesn't matter.

This depends on the song but most girls really enjoy the simple kind of dancing where you take each others hands and push and pull back and forth on each others arms (gently).Take a step give her a twirl, then your hand on her hip and just keeping dancing as it feels natural.

The best thing you can do is just jump out on the dance floor and start "moving." It doesn't have to be to the beat. Hell, it doesn't even have to look good. Just do it with confidence. The most important thing of all, though, is to try to get some eye contact going with a random person across the dance floor. Once it's established, maintain it for the entire length of the song. Once a new song starts, pick a different person. Trust me.
