No reliable way. Some girls I would never think that they're in relationships but suddenly they all have secret boyfriends that live 3 hours away that no one knows about except for them. It's pretty retarded but hard to avoid.

act like she doesn't until she actually tells you she does and deal with it then. if she has one she will often bring it up herself , but don't ask or you might ruin a perfectly good slut-close on a girl who would have pretended to be single and not mention her boyfriend.

the important thing to know is that if you telegraph interest she'll inform you herself once she "gets your telegraph" . this is also important because if you don't convey your romantic interest enough she won't feel the need to inform you as quickly because she'll think you just want to be friends and you'll waste craploads of time.

after discovering she has one just run a boyfriend destroyer or treat it as a shit-test or (tsk) move on
