Riding Solo

I've only gone to bars solo. So far, nobody has treated me as creepy. Be comfortable and have a good time. Enjoy the band and have a drink. Don't focus too much on women. When a hot girl starts trying to make eye contact or brushes up against you, say hello.

I also go to bars solo, in fact one at one of the places I go to a lot some people know me as "lone wolf". It's not a reputation to be afraid of, I like to think of it as: "I have so much damn fun by myself I don't even need friends to entertain me."

Whenever I walk into a club/bar, I'll talk to anyone that seems interesting (guys or girls). At least open and approach and if it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere then you can get another drink/talk to other people. I'll hop up onto the high risers and dance next to the DJ for a few minutes and before I know it all these people seem to flock by me, dancing. When you go out solo you do what the fuck you want when you want and you can get loose and not give a shit because you won't have your friends judging you for doing so (they can't handle the fact that I'm a PUA, but they'll get used to it eventually).

If people ask why you're alone then use one of the following tactics:

1) (Lie) "Oh my friends are over there" (pointing to a random section of the bar)

2) (Truth) "These are my new friends/I made some new friends" (point towards some people you just met)

3) (Lie) "Oh my friends are on their way/my friends left early/my friends wanted to go to another bar."

4) (Truth - the best option) "I came here by myself because I meet more interesting people that way." (this adds an element of mystery/confidence while making whoever you are talking to try to qualify themselves to be interesting for you)

If you go out solo enough times then you'll make a good base of friends to hang out with in the future. The best part is if you met them in the bar/club then they'll likely go back there with you at a future time.

If they ask you where your friends are, just be like:

1) they're somewhere here 2) They're on their way, I just got out of work late and met them here 3) my friend had a fight with his girlfriend and left early.

But really it doesn't matter.

I've got a slightly related question to going out solo especially to those of you who've already replied. How do you handle the alcohol situation? I mean you'd think a situation like this would be a lot more manageable drunk, but if you're alone (assuming you aren't a giant city with great public transit) do you just not drink much? Seems like a bit of a problem with this whole idea
