So I've pretty much got my tinder game down to a tee, going for the whole cocky/funny/a little too forward type of thing and it seems to work wonders. I'm decent looking, and with the combination of text talk techniques i've perfected I do pretty well getting numbers/dates/meet ups.

But the truth is, I'm fairly socially awkward. If the person I'm with is open and bubbly then I can mirror that and everything is fine.

However, my most recent experience has proved that if she's a little more reserved, then I tend to be also. After the date ended (with a very reserved hug and an 'it was nice to meet you') I got the message afterwards "You weren't like I was expecting, seemed nervous/awkward" or along those lines. It didn't help that she was the most attractive i've met with so far and would definitely consider out of my league (shouldn't be thinking like that, I know).

We've agreed to meet up again, but I just know that I definitely didn't live up to her confident/forward expectations. We ended up having the average 'getting to know each other' chat with a few laughs, but nothing substantial.

Anyone have any tips on how I can be on top of my game no matter who i'm with? If i'm with someone who I'd consider on my own level then I can pull off the cocky/confident thing, as soon as she's super attractive, I crumble.

I feel like I have some redeeming to do for my second date..
