There's a lot of information on approaching on Seddit, but there's really not much information on first dates. I've recently gone on a first date with a girl which went really well in my opinion. Lots of laughs, some kino, and we kissed briefly just before the date ended. I really felt like we clicked. When I text her after the date, I got no response until 2 days later when I texted her again. It just didn't feel right compared to her previous texts right after the number close, which contained lots of smiley faces and enthusiasm in general. After analysing myself for a bit, the only ways I think I could have messed up are:

  1. Letting her lead the conversation too much. She started asking me really deep conversational questions i.e. what do you not like about yourself? At first I started making fun of her for being so nosy/ confrontational, but I still gave my honest answers. Although it felt like she was leading the conversation, I felt like we both invested a lot, i.e talking about our families. And I made sure to tease her when the opportunity presents itself

  2. Not F-closing. Probably not the case, as I felt I escalated at a good pace.

So what are your thoughts and tips and tricks to have a good first date?
