Three weeks ago I posted here about this graphic and got tons of great feedback. Since then, I felt sort of guilty just leaving it as a post on seddit, when a wide range of people could use the information for reference.

Here it is.

Huuuge shoutout to /u/CentralValleyAsian who PM'd me out of the blue last week about turning The Five into a book. It was a great idea, but after some thinking I felt like there must've been a more efficient way to give out the same information, without saying more than what needs to be said.

That same night, I rolled up my sleeves and took another crack at the graphic. After seven days of late nights, countless stick figures, and missed meals, I finished! And had the time of my life doing it!

I've never done an actual infographic before. I've been using Photoshop for 5 years (since freshman year highschool), and it's one of my favorite backpocket skills. I usually do picture editing and color correction stuff for fun like this (was taking a walk with my little cousin during the summer, snapped a pic of her walking like an old lady, and made that later.) So I was pumped the entire time doing this. Definitely one of the longer projects I've worked on, but I trusted that I knew what I was doing and tried my best.

But truly I had no plans of touching the original, until CentralValleyAsian tossed that idea in the air.

Overall I wanted to improve the quality, have it apply to all people, and 'optimize for clarity' - like /u/Ruudjah suggested - without adding too much and taking away from the message. I also wanted to stick to my other post's original intention of simplicity and easy accessibility (a save-able picture).

Thanks /r/seduction for the amazing feedback in the first post. You birthed something fucking awesome. It honestly feels amazing helping others, so I'll be sharing it wherever I can in hopes of reaching folks, hopefully you will too.

Take care.
