Have you talked to her before other than saying hi/thanks/how much? Is there any sign at all that she is interested in you? Does she even have a clue who you are? Try to make her notice you/attracted to you before just asking a random stranger for her number.

I'm assuming that you'd be able to walk over when you're finished with your register. Ask whoever for a receipt paper to jot your number down. Write.. Name, number, description (cute guy with the beard). Walk over to the register girl and say "Hey, I'm SixxEros. I'm about to leave but wanted to make sure you had your receipt. Hit me up." Don't forget to smile and act as if this is just a normal day.
