Context

I'm at the bar with 3 people.

  • Joff - A crazy, loud, and aggravating salesman. A huge liability. However, has insane energy and his positivity grows on you. Fat. Bald. Short. Ugly. But a great heart. He basically coerced/pushed me into hanging out and I relented.

  • Albert - Joff's friend. This guy is tall, ripped, and gorgeous. He has a girlfriend but it's a little sketch of a situation. He runs a crossfit gym and loves to twerk his pecs. Who twerks pecs? This guy.

  • Sarah - She likes me. A lot. But we're out together to help her meet men (so she can relationship up).

Goal

  • 80% - We're out to hit on men (Sarah + I)
  • 20% - We're out to hit on women (Joff + Albert)

Since Joff has low expectations, he's just here to have fun. He knows he can't pull anything. Albert has a girlfriend already. We're out to game, have fun, and connect with people. Low expectations. Sarah and I are the only ones really open to anything.

The evening

Blah blah blah. We spend 4 hours not doing anything. Circle jerk. Talking to unexciting people. I'm constantly chastising Joff to calm the fuck down. I'm pushing Albert to talk to women and reinforcing that he's hot. (How the fuck doesn't he know this??) Sarah is hitting on men hard by herself because she doesn't like Joff/Albert and she's trying to make me jealous. I like her. I like her a lot. But I'm not the jealous type.

So, I go upstairs to pay my tab and we're going to peace the fuck out to the next bar.

The sighting

But I notice 2 really attractive women (9's) and a lame looking guy sitting at a table. A couple and a 3rd wheel. The couple was being disgusting taking selfies and the 3rd wheel was literally slumped over her drink with shoulders drooped.

EDITOR'S NOTE: While you might not believe me, I didn't fully understand how hot these girls were at first. Only an HOUR later did I fully take in what I had landed on.

The approach

Me: "That looks intense. Are you the 3rd wheel?"

Her: Laughs. "Yea, that's what I'm up to tonight..."

Me: "I'll save you! Hi, I'm Michael!" (sits down next to her as I say this)

Events of the evening

  • KINO. When making jokes, I would always reach over to touch her. First her arm and then her knee. After a while I just rested my hand on her lap/knee. I even commented about how she has small legs.

  • About 15 minutes into the interaction, Joff comes up and shouts at my fucking face (he can barely contain his excitement) "Dude, Albert just pulled 2 incredibly hot girls and we need you. Basically 10's. You have to see this." I give him the 'what the fuck dude' eyes and tell him no thanks. I tell him that I'm hanging out with 'these cool people' right now and I'll come down later. He leaves.

  • 10 minutes later, Sarah comes up to say hi. She wants me to leave the group and join her. I say no thanks.

  • 10 minutes later, Joff comes back up and says they're going dancing. I invite 'my new group' They agree.

  • We go dancing. At this point I've completely abandoned my friends.

  • Her friends want to leave. She turns to me and says "We're going to head home." I reply "Let me drive you home. I want to get to know you a bit more." She negotiates with her friends while I sit patiently. (Always let the woman work out the logistics, don't force it.)

  • She agrees.

  • We dance. We leave. We go to my house under the guise of weed. We have passionate sex.

Lessons

  • Contextual approaches are king.

  • Having friends to show you're cool is king. (Especially female friends)

  • I offered a reason to go to my house (weed). (Deniability)

  • I went out for the purpose of helping Sarah, so I wasn't creepily eyeing women.

  • The logistics of my house being closer than her house was a great excuse.

  • Be a good kisser.

  • Let your target work out the logistics. If she wants it, she will make it happen.
