haha I did think my shakes in the bathroom were ridiculous! So I recited my mantra to myself and thankfully they completely stopped.

the 3 C's man "Clear, calm and confident"
I'm also religious so I always remind myself that God's written my story already, I'm simply living it out but in order to live it out I have to be prepared to take action

I have mixed feelings about the "I have a boyfriend" response. Sure, sometimes a girl will say that just to get you off your back, and other times she genuinely has one and is loyal (which in my eyes makes her even more attractive). But in both cases, I believe it's a lost cause.
If a girl is giving you excuses like that, she obviously doesn't care enough to continue the conversation, and there's not point in me trying to convince her of something when I can just have a fresh start with another girl that might actually be interested in me.
If she is genuinely taken, then there's no point in continuing the interaction (at least in my eyes. I don't mess with girls that are taken, just my philosophy).
I have enough female friends as it is, so if I'm going to have a very hard time conquering a girl, I might as well just move onto the next one. Get into that surplus mentality.
Either way, awesome job man. Keep it up! It'll get easier the more you do it. Props to approaching regardless of how nervous you felt.

The approach alone is a victory, regardless of how the interaction goes (and you did fine in the interaction) and whether or not you get a number. Good work.
