...And that's why you always have to acknowledge the friend. The friend that's being the third wheel has a ton of power to tear the whole thing down. It's nice to see people still have strong friends that cover each other's backs. I respect that a lot.

Then your attitude changes and you'll be a lot more easy-going! So in that mindset, just ask for her number, say you had a lot of fun hanging out - which it sounds like you did - and maybe next party/bar crawl/something you should do it again. Then say goodnight to both, close it out nice and continue having fun and meeting people.

Whenever you are hitting on a girl, you've got to be SUPER NICE to her friends. Go out of your way to introduce yourself to them and talk to them a lot, just enough so you don't look like you aren't interested in the girl. The friends HAVE to like you because sometimes they make the eventual choice as to whether she goes home with you. And to be honest, if the friends are being assholes and I feel like she is being influenced by them, I will just get the girl's number and leave and I will say "I don't think your friends like me."
