Sexual escalation. Most will say Kino, and it is a big one. But there's also body language and positioning, voice tonality, strong eye contact, and what you say. Making jokes about sex doesn't escalate much. Talking about sex does.

This video gives some good pointers. I don't like how often he uses canned routines, but you'll get the gist.

If you don't be bold, don't arouse her, don't escalate...don't show girls that you are a sexual human being, then how can they see you as one?

Compliment her. Tell her she has sexy lips. Let her see you checking out her chest. Look at her lips when she's talking. Bring up a sexual topic and ask her preferences.

The more likely problem here is that you're afraid to go sexual and go about making jokes to do it.

Get into her personal space, break the touch barrier (brushing your hand against hers, burshing your hand lightly and only for a second against her leg, when you enter a new place or look for a place to or what not guide her to where you want to go by touching the small of her back and lightly [very lightly] push/direct her where you want go), do the "look at one eye, then the other, then her lips, and then both her eyes" trick to gauge if she's ready for a kiss and if she is kiss her.
