Here are some pointers I have realized doing pickup:

1. Place yourself in situations of opportunity. If there is something you can do outside of the house, do it. Using your computer? Instead of doing it in your house do it at the local library or coffee shop. There you will open yourself to opportunities of meeting new women.

2. What if she says no/has a boyfriend? Sometimes you are talking with a woman and she is just awesome and really cool. But when you ask for her number she says she has a boyfriend. Most guys would give up at this point. Instead, I go for the second best option. I say "How about being friends?" to which they almost always answer yes. I then ask "What's your Facebook?" because we are friends at this point. I may not get the number but I still got their Facebook which is a fine way of contacting them. And it doesn't hurt to have another friend. She can always introduce you to one of her girl friends.

3. What to say if you've asked the same girl twice. When you've been doing pickup a lot, most of the faces blur to the point where you may be picking up the same girl twice. This is especially true if you live in a small town. If she tells you that you've already asked for her number, simply say "I figured I'd give it a second chance". This makes you sound genuine in your actions.

I have found pickup to be more than just getting laid. It is a mindset of making the most out of any opportunity, expanding your horizons, and networking like crazy.
