Recently a number of people I know have been rejected or stood up and thier response was to text/call the person and tell them they were an ugly loser.

I have seen girls and boys do this.

Do you do this? Why? I... Think it's suboptimal but I am truly interested in the dynamics of the "rage" quit. Why tell someone you were obviously pursuing they are a loser and you didn't like them that much anyway?

The people in my life I caught doing this had no sense of shame or regret. How common is this behavior?

I am particularly interested in hearing from people who partake in this behavior.
