19 years old, in college, had one girlfriend previously (senior year of high school). Every time I want to approach a cute girl, I feel like I can't. I'm scared of messing it up, I'm scared of getting rejected, I'm scared that her friends will judge me (if she's with other people), and I'm truly sick of it. Where should I start if I want to get over this fear?

I'm about to go out and walk around campus, so if you give me any good advice, I'll try to put it to use today!

Some info about myself: I can't really judge myself when it comes to looks, but I think I'm at least decent? I'm not overweight, and I started going to the gym over the summer to lift. People have been complimenting me on how much more muscular I look now compared to last year, so spending the summer working out made a pretty big difference it seems. That being said, I'm pretty short (like 5'5"ish), so that doesn't help. I think I'm pretty good at talking to girls in general, but the issue is that I'm awful at initiating anything, so it's hard for me to even get to that point.

Note: my previous girlfriend was the one who approached me, and I got her number from there, so this whole approach thing was basically a non-issue when it came to her.
