I live in a smaller town, and I've found that I am a terrible judge of age. I avoid talking to girls that look like they may be younger than 20 because I don't want to accidentally hit on a 16 year old.

Are there any guidelines to follow? I typically look for things like college shirts, textbooks, etc. to see if they're in college, but as far as physical traits go, I'm not sure.
