Seriously though, go for it. As a girl, if someone asked me out at work, i'd feel comfortable because i'd be on my home turf, if you will. GO GETTER!

You can define a limit, but the slope may increase exponentially as you approach the asymptote.

There are three possibilities. 1. She's not interested at all. If that's the case who cares. I know that's hard to take to heart but it's important that you do. So what who cares; it doesn't reflect on you necessarily. 2. She is but not right now. She has a boyfriend or just got over a breakup or whatever. Not your time. Again see above. Or 3. she is and you get a number and some play or whatever. What's important to most girls is you are willing to put your self out there. At the end of the day. If you do and you bomb; what was lost. Seriously. What did you lose. What you gained is you know. A date, some play, or nothing at all. But what did you lose? The assume attraction mantra is so stupid but is so necessary for so many. Those that are willing to get shoot down the most get the most play.
