I seem to have a problem listening to my girl....both my ex-gf (that breakup led me to TRP) and my most current gf (pretty red-pill) have told me this. I need a solution to this and i hope it's not to listen more closely...I ain't got time for that.

You are giving them mixed signals. Tell them you aren't interested in what they're talking about, and to talk about something interesting to you. Then, they're not confused. If they're bitching you're not interested in their life, then just tell them you have better things to worry about, and that she should go talk to her girlfriends if she wants to gossip. Here's some questions:

Why would you want to listen to a woman talk for 2+ hours about "gossip and whatnot" and "stupid shit" then retain it all? Why do you want to listen to anyone talk for 2+ hours about anything?

Why would you want to comprehend what a woman expects? Who knows what they are thinking or why?

Why do you want to be in a relationship with women who give you a 2 hour monolog with a quiz at the end? And if you fail this quiz it starts a pointless argument?

I think this woman places unreasonable demands on others in regards to her relaying the events of her life and expecting them to remember all the minutia. Probably has driven all her girlfriends away as well and she doesn't have anyone else to talk at.

there have been a few times my wife will start getting upset and even crying (this was years ago) about some of the dumbest shit...like shit a human being shouldn't be upset about...and after a while I would just start laughing, and she would get PISSED that I was laughing at her. And I would tell her "I am not laughing AT YOU, I am laughing at the fact you are reacting to xyz the way you are". That never ended well for me, lol.

You can't be her orbiter/gay friend/girlfriend and at the same time her being your woman. Tell her that gossip is something she should do with her girlfriends, you just don't find it interresting.

Also, if she starts shit about it, why do you take it? Why do you acknowledge her bullshit? Just ignore her for a bit or something.

It's because you are a guy. No matter who you are with or how long you are together this issue will still come up. If you and the other person are really compatible it won't be an argument for you. There are some things that all guys do and some things all girls do. When you really love someone these will be the things that you over look. Both of you.
