Are sites like match.com/okcupid worth it compared to tinder/bumble/etc?

I've tried a bunch of them, have had relationships come from a few, but the one I like the most is Coffee Meets Bagel. You get one person a day and you can choose to like/pass. If it's mutual, a chat opens, but the chat closes in a few days forcing you to make a move and at least exchange numbers. It seems the people on it are more serious about trying to date, not just hookup. I usually get about 2 matches a week and I've been on 12 dates so far from it so about half I've actually met in person. Had a 3 month relationship come from it, but that ended and I've had good luck with it again. For reference, I'm 23, but I think it would probably work well with older people. There are lots of filters you can choose from so for the most part it gives you people you might actually like.

Do you want to date to actually find someone you grow old with?

Or do you want to date to meet a variety of new people that you can enjoy their company, have sex with, but not develop too serious of a relationship with?

If it's the former, then you would enjoy match and eharmony. If it's the latter then stick with Tinder, and you can add OKCupid and POF as they are also free, and you can specify that you're only looking for casual sex on those sites (I think?).

The ethnic sites are usually for people wanting to stay within their ethnic community as they build a lasting relationship/marriage/etc.

POF and OKCupid do great for me. I pretty much go on average of 1 or 2 dates a week from them.

Tinder and apps like that work but not as much for me. They seem to be more looks-based. I've gotten dates off of them, but nothing close to the amount of dates I get from POF and OKCupid.

I think with Tinder, the chicks have so many guys to pick from, they can just go for the best looking dudes.

The dating websites, are geared towards more of a dating scene rather than just hang out and grab a drink.

But I'm looking for a long term GF. I enjoy going out with different girls, getting laid, getting attention, but at the end of the day, I want to be in a relationship. Dating websites are geared for that.

But if I was a young, good looking guy? I'd be fucking sloots left and right from Tinder! (Fuck! I wish I was a young, good looking guy lol)
