In general it depends on your personality. What works for me is to say as little as possible. Talk too much, and it comes across as desperate. You have to talk the minimal amount needed to maintain interest and push the conversation forward.

If you're following a scripted interrogation, because your solely intention is assesing women about how interested they are/could be about you, the question will surely sound plastic, which will awake a sense of suspiction and unwillingness on her.

It's all about the mindset, dude. Have fun. You've already met this girl, right? Well, good job! You're awesome. Now take it easy, the worst is already done. As well as you're being true to yourself and you're there for having an incredible time, you'll be fine! You're doing that because life is fucking short and random, and this empower your will to live and enjoy every fucking thing everytime. This girl looks hot, so you're there exactly like "Wow, wonder what she thinks about, what she likes to do for a living, how she spend her time off...."

It's all about being real, and not needy at all of an external outcome. Once you have set up your mind, you'll notice girls being less reluctant to your efforts on approaching, you'll be less hurt by rejection and, most important point here, you'll be having great times meeting people!

Expectations fuck everything, and people notice when you expect something about them. Maybe this girl could be interested in you, but you seem to be so focused on building intimacy that you're not spending enough attention about what's most important for her: Being you.

If you're already doing this, maybe she's playing with you.
