Have you thought whether your coming from the "please give me your validation" mentality?

The best guys are free flowing with their conversation and don't give a f*uck about what people think.

Of course, you want to stay away from obviously offending people.

If I were you, I would just talk about things that interest me and about my passions.

Could be a self esteem issue, that you don't value yourself that much

Or that you feel your intentions are dishonest, ie. you do not care how they are and just want to get somewhere with them but feign interest.

Emotions are contagious. If you think you're weird, she will think you're weird too, and she will never find you attractive. The best thing you can do is to erase from your mind "approaching girls to seduce them". Think instead about having fun. The more you approach girls with the goal of a number or instant-date, the worst results you get. But if you approach for the only sake of approaching, and you don't expect anything else, this will change the outcome. The question is always the same "Are you approaching cause you HAVE TO do it or cause you LIKE IT?"

I overcame this initially by changing my outlook toward a girl. I found it easier to talk and treat to new girls like bratty younger sisters. It's a really old tactic probably from Mystery or somewhere I forget, but it works.
