Worked on myself. My goals, my inner circle of friends, my health, my habits. All that stuff you want to do but procrastinate to do? Do that stuff. Read about all the stuff on this sub and just go out there. Approach girls. Get rejected. Get happy when you get a number and no date. After some practice, numbers turn into dates. Then after going on dates you learn what a good date is and what a bad date is. You'll learn that you're an awesome interesting guy because you work on yourself and there are plenty of boring attractive women that you would have put on a pedestal before working on yourself. Be genuine, always. Be a man when you should be. Don't be a pushover but don't be an asshole. It's all the stereotypical stuff you read on this sub dude. Seduction is just a combination of practice and working on yourself as a person. It's not about trying to be the likable guy. It's about finding yourself, being yourself, loving yourself, and then people like you. They'll want to be around you. Whether that's friends or romantic interests. Saying "just be you" isn't all that simple. But that's really what it is, be you and stay true to yourself.

I have had 4 relationships in my life last longer than 6 months. My last broke up with me right before I deployed for 8 months, which I now respect her for instead of cheating on me, and I was crushed. We had been dating for over 3 years, and I was certain I was going to marry her. I hit a slump, and had been out of the game so long I forgot what to do.

I'm currently in my 4th and very happy. She's out of my league, and my practice the last year and a half (EDIT: before we started dating) let me get her attention, and I've been able to keep it by being a normal, if slightly more adventurous than normal guy.

The best thing to do is download tinder or bumble, and not just try to smash, but go on dates. The thing I really needed to practice was establishing an easy rapport with women.

About me: 6', previous D1 college athlete who hasn't really attempted to work out in 2 years. I still had a nice physique, but it was all soft, none of it muscle, if that makes sense.

So, I went on dates. I went on dates with women who were varying levels of pretty, or who were interesting, or both. I sometimes wouldn't feel anything, and I'd be polite and upfront and let them know. One or two couldn't take no for an answer. I'd sometimes be interested, and usually women are willing to give another date a go even if they weren't 100% about the first one. Sometimes, I found girls who just wanted to fuck, but I had yet to encounter one who would turn down a date.

We'd go to dinner, talk and usually walk around and go somewhere else for drinks after. Sometimes, if I felt like they liked me enough, I would invite them back for drinks at my place. I didn't follow a set formula, or follow a path, or any other way you want to think about it. I just engaged them in conversation, get to know them, and progress from there. Sometimes, it led to sex immediately. Sometimes, it took a couple dates, or it just wouldn't happen at all.

But I learned how to engage women. I learned how to hold a real conversation, actually listen, treat them like an equal. Sometimes, I found women who didn't want to be equals. That's not for me. Some women play stupid games, some want to be subservient. That may be your thing, it isn't mine. By going on dates with these women, I was able to learn and discern the telltale signs of whether they fell into either of these categories.

Women aren't some game you can play. They are real people. Treat them as such.

To sum it up with lessons I learned from experience, which you will likely have to do as well despite reading what I tell you, is to most importantly be direct. Women like confidence. Directness is akin to boldness, and that demonstrates confidence. Be engaging, ask them questions, give them honest answers, especially if you disagree. Be able to defend your reasoning, but don't be dismissive or condescending, unless a belief they hold is abhorrent to you, in which case the relationship probably won't work because you are very different morally, so who cares? And last is to be passionate about something. If she is worthwhile, she'll be interested in that (after she's committed to the idea of liking you). You should also do likewise for her. I like reading and writing. She's since turned into my biggest fan of the short stories I write.

I kind of came about the whole self improvement thing in reverse order. My girlfriend motivates me to be a better man. That's the quality I recommend you look for, by the way. Anyway, she was and is in much better shape than me, so I started working out so that she would be more physically attracted to me. We clicked intellectually, and for women, that is considerably more important than it is in men, but i still wanted her to be satisfied physically.

If this rambling nonsense helps you, I'm glad. If it doesn't, try something else. There is no set formula that I've found, but maybe that's just my style.

This answer if someone isn't lying is going to be really long man! It starts off wanting girls, but you find out getting women is really about becoming more grounded and attractive... and you either give the fuck up and continue dating PornHub... or you get to work. Become happy, emotionally intelligent, successful (whatever that means to you), have fulfilling relationships, and develop inner confidence. Additionally, realize that you don't have to have all of these things to start getting girls... but for that actualization stage of pick up where you are actually getting a good amount and having a ton of fun with it, you gotta simultaneously be working on yourself and balancing it with "game" itself.

It's a weird irony, because the journey is the best part! When it gets hard remember this... the ups and downs, smiles and frowns are actually the really cool part man. It's like the casino: If you just pushed one button and sometimes you won a bunch of money, other times you lost it all that'd be boring as fuck. You have to make a ton of moves/card draws/decisions/bets/all that shit, get stressed out, win big as fuck, have it all taken away from you in one move, put one more down, lose it, win big as fuck next time right away, only lose a little next time, etc.

Never put up with shit. Be good at what you do. Don't be a whiny bitch. Be compassionate and genuinely interested in other people and seeing other people succeed. Exercise and stop eating bullshit like chips and soda. Have a strong social circle of awesome, positive people. Make yourself interesting by living life.

I sucked at all these things but I worked on them over the last years and have made varying levels of progress. Women think I'm attractive without a shirt, that leads to confidence, that leads to women and more confidence. It's been like a switch has been thrown since I started exercising consistently and being more outspoken, assertive, and don't hold back on my communication.

Can't really say I've gotten to an incredible amount of women and I'm only 18 but I'm dating 3 at the minute. They know that I'm seeing other women and nothing is exclusive yet since I'm going to uni in September.

Basically it started with my older brother always pushing me to be better. He had me going to the gym and playing rugby and with sport comes success so when I was 14 I was really popular.

Then I sorted stagnated and drifted and my confidence hit a slump because I had a lot of acne. I didn't get anyone again for 2 years which sucked. Group chats were set up and people fell into clichés. I didn't fit into any of them and I was a loner. However I read tons of novels and this allowed me a lot of personal development.

After 16 I started to hit the gym way more and worked on my inner circle of friends. I am in pretty decent shape and quite sporty. When I was expanding my inner circle I befriended the smartest guys in my school and they really pushed me to boost my grades.

All of these things really helped me improve because I got into philosophy and I picked up The Game by Neil Strauss. After this I was able to work on my conversational skills and started chatting with women a lot more.

I found this sub 6 months back and it's been amazing! I was using just a few of the tips and was natural with my jokes and humour and I've been experiencing a lot of interest this summer which has been exceptionally good good! I've went from only having slept with 2 girls to 7 (won't brag tool much because there's been no HBs yet) in the past 6 months after finding this sub!

I found that working on myself to improve and strive for better things got me more women than anything else.

Didn't think I'd ever run into a question I'd ever be able to answer.

Now let me clarify, I don't have MANY girls who are interested in me, but there is a lot compared to nearly 1 and 1/2 years ago.

So in elementary I was always that one fat kid who would be occasionally cringy and socially-awkward. I would constantly face rejections and bullying because of my character and physical appearance. I also didn't care much about my clothes or doing my hair...so I overall looked like a mess. This resulted in barely any girls even wanting to be friends with me, forget about being interested.

When high school rolled in, I started naturally caring about clothes I wore and how my hair was done. I would brush often and I began working out. All of these small changes were part of me naturally growing up, I didn't choose to do these things in hopes of having better chances with women. Eventually I began to look very different which I noticed from pictures.

By mid-year of my Freshman I had many friends that were girls and one of my best friend was a girl. This resulted in her telling me many secrets linked to me. Eventually I got word that around 14+ girls found me attractive, hot, good looking, or all of the three. Not only that but more girls began texting me and my best friend began crushing on me. This obviously resulted in lots of drama since I didn't like her back.

Eventually I found interest in a girl from another school and we began dating after less than a month of meeting each other. Last week I remember three girls asked me if I was single and that same week my girlfriend's friend said I was very hot etc. Today a friend of mine from my high school who's also a attractive female said I am very hot.

Things have changed and it's not something to complain about. Despite all these girls finding me attractive/hot, whenever I look in the mirror, I see the same guy I knew a year and half ago.

Time flies haha.
