Want to know what it is? It's called listening. It's something you do when you aren't wrapped up in your own head thinking about negging techniques, or pickup lines, or whether or not you need to apply cocky humour here or there.

This is gonna be vague, but that's the way it should be. Getting girls is not a science experiment and should not be treated as such, it's human nature and you guys just happen to be out of the fucking loop for whatever reasons.

I'm gonna give you some fatherly advice now (even though I am in my 20s), and that is: go and talk to a girl you like, doesn't matter about what, doesn't matter if it becomes awkward. Just go and do it.

Talk about them, and listen to them. Engage with them. Pay attention to how they look, how they smell, their tone of voice. Get to know them in that moment - the very essence of who they are. Each woman is a unique gift to us, and we have to unwrap that gift.

When you're asking women about themselves, try to keep your energy level a little higher than your usual depressed level of energy. If you listen to what they say, not only will they recognise this and appreciate it, but you'll also learn more about them, and you'll have more opportunities to have fun with the conversation; be funny, add interest, build rapport etc. The only thing you need to do is listen, and practice with as many women as you can until you become so comfortable doing it, that it'll become second nature.

It's really not that complex. Learn to read signs of interest for yourself. Stop theorising so much and practice what you preach more. Women don't want to fuck men who aren't brave enough to take risks. How does that look from a biological, and evolutionary standpoint? If you can't grow a pair of cojones, and don't go and get good at this, then consider yourselves lucky to ever get a fuck at all.

Fill in any gaps of course: make yourself presentable, don't ever stink of shit, and just be positive and keep going. Learning is sometimes excruciatingly painful, but always always rewarding.
